Roles at PBC:

Karen has been working with PBC during the last 15 years and has over ten years experience in Human Resource Administration.  She interfaces with client personnel on the many aspects of Human Resource Management including new and departing personnel processing and maintenance of personnel files.  She has developed a series of forms and procedures to follow for each employee who joins or leaves a client’s company and writes offer, welcome, and exit letters. 

Maintaining policy changes within various insurance agencies and managing company benefit packages is also part of Karen’s expertise.  Karen makes sure all the forms for these benefits are completed correctly, and the enrollments and waivers are kept up-to-date with each employee. 

Karen also works as a conference coordinator and planner for SBIR Colorado.  Her duties include facilities procurement, meal and special event planning, conference registration, production of conference binders, sponsor exhibits, and scheduling one-on-one meetings with SBIR program managers.

Previous Industry Experience:

Prior to her work with PBC, Karen managed AP, HR, safety, scheduling, shipping, and receiving, as well as, operations for a small Colorado farm.
