Roles at PBC:
Shalini’s main role at PBC is to lead the accounting department. She is responsible for creating and sustaining a top quality accounting department, responsive to our clients and as a part of the overall client team. Training the accounting staff, whether new or advancing is a major part of her job at PBC. She is the primary interface in scheduling accounting work loads in coordination with clients and Account Executives. Shalini is also an integral part of the PBC management team and is involved in the design and implementation of PBC client service tools, processes and systems. As part of the management team, she will be involved in PBC marketing efforts. In addition to that, Shalini will be participating in Strategic and Tactical planning for PBC and the implementation of that plan. Shalini is developing and documenting standardized procedures to insure effective and efficient work patterns.
Previous Industry Experience:
Shalini has over 7 years of accounting experience. She is well versed in AP, AR, Balance sheet reconciliation, fixed assets, liabilities accrual, general ledger accounts and invoices. In addition to that she has interfaced with management teams on variances in income and expenses. Shalini has over 2 years of management experience. She has helped in planning, organizing, managing, and directing the activities of the accountants she worked with. Part of her experience in the area of management is development, implementation, and maintenance of accounting procedures to insure the best quality of work, and effective operation of the accounting staff. As part of a management team, she has been involved in corporate plans and programs, budgets, and cost reduction plan innovations. Shalini has been instrumental in the procurement of new software, and the implementation of software to improve processes and overall accounting accuracy and efficiency. As a manager she is an integral part of PBC and an asset to the management team.
